Hello, I’m Jack Dent - Here's my story.

 

Magic has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a fascination quickly became a real passion, and in 2009, at just 15 years old, I decided to turn that passion into something more and set up JD Magic.

Since then, I’ve been incredibly grateful to perform for guests at weddings, parties, corporate events and special occasions, and that’s still the part of the job I love most. For me, magic isn’t really about the trick itself -  it’s always about the reaction, the laughter, the surprise and those little moments people remember long after the event has finished.

Over the years, I’ve also been very proud to achieve some amazing milestones within the magic community.

 

2015 - Full Member of the Magic Circle

2016 -  Associate of the Inner Magic Circle

2016 - Small Biz 100 Business (10 Downing Street)

2017 - International Brotherhood of Magicians Stage Magician of the Year

2019 - Wedding Entertainer of the year.

Those achievements mean a lot to me, but the biggest reward has always been seeing people genuinely enjoy themselves.

There’s something really special about being able to bring a group of people together, break the ice and create a truly magical moment of complete amazement. Whether it’s a wedding couple watching their guests laugh together, a room full of people suddenly gathered around one piece of magic, or someone simply saying, “How did you do that?”, those are the moments I never get tired of.

​

Every event is different, and that’s exactly how I like it. I want the magic to feel natural, personal and part of the occasion.
